For those of you in the community, it's a great tool for you to use to connect with your town, and support Main Street America. Can you tell I'm a little bit excited about this?!
So, I was able to meet some great business owners. Here are some of their pictures and businesses.
Okay now, if you have not been to Season's Bakery in Gettysburg, clear your calendar this weekend and make time to go. Trust me, you'll be kicking yourself for not going sooner. Jeremy, the owner and chef, uses local produce (hurray for local!) and meats to create amazing lunches. He also has a bakery section that would make even the most dedicated dieter indulge. If you are looking for a fun place this weekend for Father's day, try Season's Bakery.
Gettysburg Signs were the creator of our shop local, buy local logo. Awesome people, terrific creativity. I was able to peek at just a few things they have created, and they seriously were all fabulous!
Hauser Winery in Gettysburg. I played with some textures on this one. I loved how the flag was the backdrop.Located right on the square in Gettysburg, you can't miss Apples and Art Antique Store. It's pretty large inside and is packed full of fantastic items.
Wentz's Stained Glass in Gettysburg not only has gorgeous glass products, but for all of you creative types out there, they teach classes! Just looking at the beatiful colors of the panes of glass made me want to create something!
The Pottery Box in Gettysburg has gorgeous handcrafted items. This is wedding season, and this store would have a really unique and beautiful gift for a wedding!
This is Nature's Pet Place. And that REALLY is a bakery case for your animals. Okay, so true confessions, if I had not known it was for dogs, I would have probably ordered something. The treats looked THAT good. Maybe if my dog goes one day without digging in my flower beds, I'll go back there and find a goodie to reward him...
