Vintage Baby

I had so much fun with baby Jason! Thanks Susan and Rob for letting me try so many different things with him. It was such a privelege to get to take his first pictures! I edited many of them with a vintage style. He's such a cutie!

Family Fun!

What a sweet family! They have the cutest grandchildren, and so, so well behaved. You guys were such great troopers for me in the cold weather! Thanks for sticking it out! Looking forward to showing you the rest of your images! Enjoy your visit together! I loved meeting you!

Workshop with David

Justin and I were able to take a workshop with our good friend David McClain. He completely customized his teaching to exactly what we were looking for. We talked about marketing, technique, work flow, etc. I am SO excited about the upcoming changes we will be making. (more on that later)

If any of you are interested in taking a workshop, I highly recommend contacting David and begging him to do one for you. My favorite part about this workshop was the one on one interaction. We could ask a thousand questions (and did), and everything was very personalized to our business. He lives in Ohio, but I'm pretty sure if you're in the Gettysburg/Carroll County area, you could convince him to come this way.

Here are some images from our weekend.

SNOW!

I don't know about you all, but we are LOVING this insane amount of snow! We have a sledding trail carved, and are having all kinds of fun. One of our favorite snow treats is carmel corn. Here's my recipe. It's super easy, and the boys love it!

Pop one bag of popcorn and place in 9x13 dish. Hint : spray with Pam first and remove kernels

- 1 stick of butter
- 3/4 c. of brown sugar
- 1/4 c of white corn syrup

Melt all of these ingredients into a pan. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add one teaspoon of baking soda.
Pour over popcorn. Bake at 350 for 10 min. Enjoy!!!!

Smitten

I am. This boy, our family, the husband that gave these beautiful children to me. Completely, utterly, hopelessly, smitten.

Fun Winter Pictures

I love this series, particularly the outdoor shots. I won't lie, it was freezing, but this everyone in the family were such troopers. I think the results were worth freezing for a little bit. There is just something about snowing pictures that enchants me. I can't wait for the next snowfall to do some of my boys!
