My last photo session of the season was with Layla. It was particularly fun because I had done her first baby pictures, and now did her first Christmas pictures. Her parents Tony and Jen are our good friends. We had a great time seeing your new house and visiting with you. We love you guys! Merry Christmas!!!

Becky and Rob
The next family we did at our 'family day' was Becky and Rob. I briefly met them when I took pictures of their daughter at the pumpkin patch, so I was really excited to get a chance to chat a little and get to talk to them more. Taking pictures of their girls was so fun for me, because I was one of two girls. Your girls brought back so many sweet memories of me and my sister.

Thanks, David!!!
Just want to say a quick thank you to David McClain of DMPhoto. He patiently sat down with me for hours (on black Friday no less!) to teach me all kinds of great new things. Thanks so much, David for all of your time and effort! I owe you one!!!

The Floreys part one
My visits to Michigan would never be complete without visiting Pat Florey. Her creativity and energy inspire and drive me. I could talk to her for hours, and she would still be feeding me new ideas to try, and giving me things to spark my imagination.
This visit home was a special treat, because I was able to photograph her grandchildren. Pat had made all of the girls tutus and velvet bolero jackets. Her grandson, Eli, was in a tux. They couldn't have been cuter!
She allowed me free reign of the house, and I was able to borrow and steal things for our photo shoot. We had such a blast!
Here is some of our fun - more to come later!
The Painters
I had a great time going home to MI for Thanksgiving! While I was there, I got to meet and take pictures of two incredibly cool little guys. As a fellow mother of boys, I have a definite softspot for little fellows. Gavin and Brendan were so much fun! They dressed up as pirates, cowboys, and chefs, showed my their favorite toys, and Gavin even shaved for me. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely have to set up a play date. My three guys would love you! Although, five boys together?! Fun times!
